Ottawa Redblacks sign eight American players – Toronto Sun

The Ottawa Redblacks announced the signing of eight American players Tuesday.

Among them was former Montreal Alouettes receiver Quan Bray, who finished the 2022 Canadian Football League season on Ottawa’s practice roster. In 2019, the receiver from Auburn University had 818 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 15 games with the Montreal Alouettes.

Other signings announced Tuesday included: defensive lineman Jake Hlava (Grand Valley State); offensive lineman Justice Powers (Alabama at Birmingham); receivers Tyrice Richie (Northern Illinois) and Savon Scarver (Utah State); defensive backs Jeremiah Baltrip (Southeastern Oklahoma State) and Darius Williams (Carson-Newman); and linebacker Jordan Young (Old Dominion).
