Delayed results, mail-in ballots, and COVID rules: Elections Canada reveals pandemic plan this snap election
Elections Canada says it is preparing for between 2.3 million and up to five million mail-in ballots, depending on COVID-19 case numbers, up from the 50,000 postal ballots received in the 2019 election.
The Conservative have the most candidates confirmed at 305, followed by the Liberals who have 290 candidates, the NDP with 211, and the Greens with 169. The Bloc nearly has a full slate at 76 candidates.
