Sharon Lindores – CTV Edmonton

Sharon is a Toronto-based writer who has lived and worked across Canada – everywhere from Vancouver in the west to Quebec City in the east. She joined the CTVNews.ca team in July, 2021.

She’s a generalist with an international background. Her interests include global affairs, the environment and natural world, economics, politics, social issues, travel, arts, literature, health and fitness. She’s covered everything from the financial crisis to gorillas in Uganda.

She’s written and edited for news organizations such as the National Post and the CBC in Canada and Reuters and Bloomberg in London.

Sharon completed a Kiplinger Fellowship in digital media with Ohio University. She studied economics at the University of London and has degrees in journalism from Ryerson University and in English literature and political science from the University of British Columbia.

She speaks English and some French.
