Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects after a man was stabbed and had his cellphone stolen at the Main St. subway station last month.
Toronto Police were called on Saturday, April 16 at 6:52 p.m. to Main St. and Danforth Ave. for reports of a person with a knife.
Police say a victim was in an argument with two men inside the east-end subway station when they exited the station and a “physical altercation ensued.”
One of the men allegedly stabbed the victim and stole his cellphone.
Police say the men walked back to the subway station followed by the victim, who was then stabbed a second time before the men fled in an unknown direction.
Security camera images have been released.
The first suspect is described as a man in his early 20s, wearing a black winter jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, red pants and black shoes.
The second suspect is described as a man in his early 20s, wearing a black winter vest, red long-sleeved shirt underneath, black pants and red shoes.
They are believed to be violent and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 911.
