We didn’t get to see many plates this year, but players – current and former alike – got into the spirit. Sporting News has got you covered with some of the best Thanksgiving posts.

James Harden

The 2018 NBA MVP spent part of his Thanksgiving serving meals to individuals and families in Brooklyn.

Deni Avdija

The Israeli-born Wizards forward had his first Thanksgiving meal, and he implored Americans to make healthier food. He hadn’t even finished his meal before he was already thinking about how many miles he was going to need to do to burn the extra calories off.

Deni had his first Thanksgiving meal! 🍽

He tried pumpkin pie, gravy and more for the first time 🤤

His reaction was not at all what we were expecting 😂

Patty Mills

Australians don’t celebrate Thanksgiving like their North American friends, so Brooklyn’s sharp-shooting guard Patty Mills had other things on his mind for Thanksgiving morning.

The Antetokounbros – plus mom Veronica – got into the spirit of things at home.

John Wall

Baron Davis

B. Diddy challenged anyone to whip up better-looking plates than he and his family.

Javale McGee

The Suns’ big man knows the importance of giving back. He hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for Child Crisis Arizona who provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect.

C.J. Watson

I could just eat sides give me some Mac n cheese and dressing and gravy and yams and I’m straight lol
