An Ajax man will pay down his mortgage after winning $79,511.60 playing the sports lottery POOLS.

Rami Al Nouno, 41, a married father, had nerves watching the game.

“It was a real nail-biter. When my team won, I was so excited. I knew it was a winner,” he said.

Al Nouno shared the news first with his wife.

He said when he found out how much he won he shared the news with his wife.

“I sat down with her and said, ‘Are you ready for this?’ She was so happy. It was a nice moment,” he said.

There are also plans to put money away for his children’s education.
